Product Introduction:

(1) Further improved operability and readability

The monitor has been replaced from the previous 17 inch to 23 inch, and the icon layout is more practical. These features, which were already widely praised on older models, have been further improved this time. The new system has increased the size of perspective images, appearance images, and reference images, and the maximum magnification has also been increased from 127 times to 161 times, making it easier to observe various images.

(2) Simplify the operation of BGA measurement and area ratio measurement

The new system has improved BGA (Ball Grid Array) measurement and area ratio measurement, greatly simplifying the operation steps. The previous system required manual setting of complex measurement parameters, while the new system now allows for independent image processing algorithms to automatically adjust. Tasks that used to take around 60 seconds (including operation time) to complete in the previous system can now be completed in about 1 second, while avoiding deviations caused by human factors and ensuring the stability of measurement results. The new system can pre save multiple settings and retrieve corresponding settings for inspection based on different inspection objects.

(3) Expanded appearance image and location function that can cover the entire area

As one of the strengths of the old model, the appearance navigation function has been improved in the new system, most notably by increasing the shooting range of appearance images. In the past, the appearance camera could not cover the entire movement range of the stage by 300 × 350mm (SMX-1000L Plus 520 × 620mm). However, the new system has solved this problem by eliminating blind spots in the appearance coverage area and allowing for the specification of movement positions within the entire movement range.
